Best Whitening Toothpaste

I Love Smiling
Whitening your teeth can dramatically change your life. Everyone is attracted to a friendly person and a bright healthy smile causes people to want to get to know you better. This is why many people have used over the counter products and teeth whitening systems to brighten their teeth and increase their self-esteem among others.
There are many teeth whitening products on the market, such as dental trays with whitening gels, or whitening strips or even a professional laser teeth whitening (performed by a cosmetic dentist). These whitening products usually contain hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide as the main bleaching agent. However, it is vitally important to maintain your newly white smile by brushing your teeth twice a day with a whitening toothpaste.
It is easier to whiten your teeth when you use a whitening toothpaste on a daily basis. The problem is that most teeth whitening toothpastes such as Aquafresh Extra Fresh Whitening, Opalescence Whitening Toothpaste Guaranteed Freshness, and Rembrandt Plus Fresh Mint Flavor Toothpaste, do not deliver the goods. As you probably figures out, some brands invest more efforts on attractive packaging and clever product names than they do on the active ingredients in the products themselves.
Honestly, it will be unethical (and even misleading) to claim that any whitening toothpaste will actually bleach your teeth. Teeth whitening products do not need FDA approval, and this is exactly why you have to choose wisely.
But Some Whitening Toothpastes Do Work, So What Is The Best Whitening Toothpaste?
When choosing the best whitening toothpaste, my considerations were ingredients and active ingredients, safety, texture, taste, effectiveness and price. I have to admit that it was hard to pick up the best one.

Opalescence Whitening Toothpaste is well recommended by dentists. Note that some dentists recommend using it only on weekends and not on a daily basis, because its high potency can harm your tooth enamel. All in all, it is one of the best products to get your teeth whiter. The cool mint flavor leaves you with a fresh feeling for many hours. Cost – $10.25 – 4.7 oz
#4
BriteSmile Toothpaste is a part of complete whitening system, but it can also be used as a standalone product. Britesmile Ultra Brite toothpaste is effective for whitening as well as for cleaning. Its unique formulation which contains baking soda (which helps to prevent bad breath), makes it one of the best whitening toothpastes on the market. You can use it twice a day, and be sure that it will not harm the tooth enamel. Cost – $18.97 – 4.2 oz

Supersmile Professional Whitening Toothpaste is well recommended by the cosmetic dentistry. Its price is quite resonable when it comes to a really great deal. Supersmile toothpaste can be used on veneers, caps, braces an dentures. It contains a proprietry ingredient (Calprox) that breaks down the protein pellicle (which surface stains stick to). Note that Supersmile also conatins peroxide agents. Cost – $15.50 – 4.2 oz

GoSMILE AM & PM Toothpaste Duo is an outstanding teeth whitening system. Its unique kit contains 2 tubes; one for morning, and one for evening. This two-step smile program promises to get your teeth whiter. Personally, I find the price tag a bit shocking. However, it has aromatherapy benefits, fluoride and naturally hydrated silica, which is great. Cost – $30 – 3.5 oz (2 tubes).

AP-24 Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste is my favorite option. It can be used every day since it contains special non-peroxide agents which do not harm the enamel, and still brighten and whiten the teeth. The AP-24 helps to remove stubborn stains such as coffee and tobacco stains with its advanced formula. It has a nice vanilla mint flavor and a special fresh-mouth feeling lasts for hours.
The AP-24 is perfect for sensitive teeth. It contains Hydrated Silica and Aluminum Oxide – a propriety blend of mild abrasives that polishes the teeth without eroding the enamel. It also contains Sodium Monofluorophosphate – an improved form of fluoride to fight cavities.
Personally, I’ve noticed considerable brightness in less than 2 weeks. It is worth each and every penny of it’s $11 price tag. 4 oz
You cannot get AP-24 at your local drugstore since it is only sold via authorized distributors. However, you can get it here. I cannot recommend this product strong enough. I just love it and it helps me to achieve tremendous results. For me it is the best whitening toothpaste.
Okay to use whitening toothpaste and strips at the same time?
I have been using a whitening toothpaste for a wile now, and have just started using whitening strips. Is it safe to be using both, or should I switch to regular toothpaste? Thanks!
That’s fine! Both whitening toothpaste and the white strips are totally safe.
They just remove surface staining. You will not damage your teeth.
Nipro’s Whitening Dental Care : DigInfo
DigInfo – http://movie.diginfo.tv – Nipro showed their new Poly-de-Clean-Gel whitening toothpaste, tablets and gum which use a natural condensed phosphate to white teeth. Other whitening toothpastes sometimes use harsh polishing agents which can wear away enamel and weaken teeth or foul tasting detergents which can cause ulcers in the mouth but this toothpaste uses only natural ingredients. The phosphates act immediately since they stick to the stain’s particles and remove them. They have been researching this product for about ten years and it will be released later this year.

Personal Dental Care: How to Achieve Dazzling Pearly Whites
Most people nowadays are getting attracted to tooth whitening products because they want to have a million dollar smile just like the celebrities seen on television.
If you want your teeth to become whiter and more dazzling, you can add whitening toothpastes into your personal dental care kit. If you want to use whitening toothpastes, don’t forget to check if it still contains fluoride and other ingredients that fight and prevent plaque and tartar.
However, a lot of whitening toothpaste users claim that these whitening products didn’t really do much in changing the color of their teeth. The yellowing of the teeth is actually a natural phenomenon. As a person gets older, his or her teeth becomes yellowish.
If you are not satisfied with the color of your teeth, the best way is to visit your dentist first and consult him or her about your dilemma. Your dentist will tell you about the effectiveness of over-counter-products or they may even offer to give you professional treatment.
Most celebrities actually prefer to undergo professional teeth whitening treatment because that way, their unique needs can be met. Be very careful in purchasing over-the-counter teeth whitening products because some of these may contain bleaching agents that can actually damage your mouth and gums.
In addition to that, do follow the instructions strictly to avoid experiencing adverse side effects.
The Teeth’s Nemesis:
Sugar Perhaps everybody has gone through a stage in their childhood when they would constantly hear their elders warning them about the evils of eating too much sugary sweets and candies. And those warnings are true indeed; eating sugary sweets and candies is a major cause of tooth decay.
However, it might helpful for you to know that its not just about the amount of sugar that you eat – it also involves when and how you eat sugary stuffs that determine the health of your teeth.
When you drink sodas or eat sugary foods throughout the day, the enamel of your teeth becomes constantly exposed to acids. Cough drops, hard candies, and breath mints are just some examples of the harmful sugary sweets that dissolve in your mouth slowly.
Dental professionals and experts suggest a 3-hour break in between taking food and drinks that contain sugar. Starchy or sugary foods eaten with a full meal is said to be less harmful to the teeth compared to being eaten alone because the increased production of saliva helps wash away the bacteria and sugar.
Eating sweet and sugary foods before sleeping isperhaps the most damaging thing one can do to his or her teeth because one does not produce a lot of saliva when he or she is asleep.
If you want to have a health set of teeth yet you can’t seem to cut out sweets from your diet, you can try some of these tips to help you achieve your goal: eat carbohydrates with a meal, brush your teeth directly after eating, rinse your mouth thoroughly with mouthwash or water, chew sugarless gum, don’t eat sugary foods and sweets between meals, eat non-sugary foods (cheese, popcorn, yogurt, raw veggies) as snacks.
In a nutshell, achieving and maintaining a healthy set of teeth may not be as easy as 123 but with enough determination and commitment to your personal dental care routine, you will surely have the smile that you’ve been wanting ever since.
